Edie was educated at Rice University and received her architecture license in 1968. In 1972, she moved to Albuquerque to teach architecture at UNM where she taught for 28 years. In 1977, she co-founded the firm of Cherry/See Architects, now Cherry/See/Reames Architects, PC. Edie’s role in the Guide has been to research and draft the architectural story of each site.
